These are photo's from a four day snow camping trip in the area near Carson pass south of lake tahoe.

The weather was really bad with very high winds and lots of snow. The first night through an error in navigation we ended up stuck on the ridge at 9000' as it was getting dark with almost no visibility. Putting up our tent in 50 to 80mph winds. Not the safest of places.

After making it through the first night we retreated back to the start of the trail to set up a base camp to wait out the rest of the storm in relavtive safety of the trees and deep snow

Myself, Bob, Travis, Alberto and Terry compete in the Laguna Seca 24 hours of Adrenalin. Basically you take turns doing laps around an 11 mile off road course for 24 hours. Each lap lasts about 1 hour 15 mins. It was excellent fun and totally brutal. The course was excellent and pretty tricky.

Travis and I both crashed at different places but were fine. Riding in the dark was totally wierd but really exciting. It was like a crazy video game. As you can only see the bit that is lit by your headlights and you are flying through forest and trees.

Definately doing it again next year!

Pictures from some of the bike rides we did during the wettest march on record. My bike got totally trashed through the winter but we needed to practice ready for the big race.
